Why is it illegal to own one guinea pig in Switzerland?
Though it sounds as the silliest law ever made, people in Switzerland cannot own a single guinea pig, as doing this will be considered as an offense. The reason behind this is that guinea pigs are social species, and if they are kept alone without being interacted with the other species, they will be considered as the victim of abuse.
